Facework is a social enterprise that equips people to face the changing world of work through skills training and by developing affordable workspaces where communities can learn, share and work together.

We are passionate about supporting young people to become leaders who can then teach and inspire their peers.  We currently work in the UK and India in these 5 areas:

"I feel more motivated coming into a workspace which is dedicated to work and community.

The environment has helped me be more productive and find more freelance work."

Isabelle Karpinski

FW Hatch Hub member.

"The Facework training  gave me the chance to grow my mind, and grow with the people around me. It has really been a wonderful two days."

"I didn't think I had anything to offer at the Facework Conversation event but the team gave me the support I needed and I really enjoyed helping to lead the discussion.  It boosted my confidence."

Frankie Spence

Facework Conversation Panellist

"What I like about the FW programme is that the student can scale themselves on their  ability before and after the Challenge. Helping the learner acquire skills such as networking or learning from mistakes is  so important in today's workplace."

Vanessa Slade, teacher.

"Working with Steve and Tim has been invaluable.  They helped us create a business case for developing our community workspace in Wolverton which has now been approved by the Council.  Learning from those who are actually doing it and having their ongoing support has made all the difference."

Treat young people as content creators, agents of change and future leaders, paying them London Living Wage rates.

Employ those under 25 years of age and equip them to lead in the design and delivery of our employability, training and enterprise 'hubs.'

Build inclusive work communities where young and old can learn from each other, thrive in their work and grow with their community.

Share our knowledge in an open-handed way, encouraging others to build on what we are doing.

Alvin Toffler's quote about youth_edited_edited_edited.png

"The secret message communicated to most young people today by the society around them is that they are not needed, that the society will run itself quite nicely until they, at some distant point in the future, will take over the reins.

Yet the fact is that the society is not runing itself nicely... because the rest of us need all the energy, brains, imagination and talent that young people can bring to bear down on our difficulties.

For society to attempt to solve its desperate problems without the full participation of even very young people is imbecile."
