FACEWORK STAFF
Facework is privileged to have wonderful team of staff and volunteers - including 5 non-executive Directors of the company who work as
volunteers to support Stephen and the staff team and act as guardians of our CIC status.
Over the last few years Facework has expanded its community workspaces, its employability training work with refugees
and the social entrepreneurship Changemakers programme.
Currently the following staff work with us either as an employee or freelance basis.

Halyna Skvortsova
Facework Ukraine Director
When war broke out in Ukraine in 2022, Halyna came to London with her 2 children. As part of its support for Ukrainian families, Lewisham Council approached Facework to offer a one-year internship through which she developed Facework Ukraine—an award-winning program that, over the past 24 months, has successfully helped 180 local Ukrainians find employment or pursue further training. Halyna has also created a comprehensive set of outstanding online resources to support Ukrainians in advancing their careers in the UK and runs the Meet Me hub at Facework

Rikefe Ohwosi
Facework Changemaker co-ordinator
Rikefe Ohwosi is a product designer with a unique background in professional sports.
Hailing from Southeast London, his journey reflects a deep passion for creativity and entrepreneurship. With a First-Class Honours Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Rikefe is committed to giving back to his community by leveraging his diverse experiences to help others discover their potential and pursue their passions. Rikefe currently heads up Facework's Changemakers programme

Larryn Lewis
Community Operations Manager
Larryn joined Facework in June 2024 when she came to the UK from Australia where she had been working for many years as an executive assistant and administrator in the corporate sector of banking and community-focused business.
As someone who’s recently gone through the UK visa process, Larryn relates to the experiences of FaceWork’s target membership group and is committed to developing Facework's Community coworking space.

Olesia Kulyk
Facework Finance Manager
Olesia is an experience accountant and worked as an auditor with a number of companies in Ukraine before she had to flea to the UK in 2023.
She works for Facework one day a week in overseeing our accounts, payroll and cashflow.

Sally Robertson
HR Support
Sally is a local HR consultant with over 20 years of experience working with small businesses, charities and CICs and works with us on a consultancy basis to help us ensure Face work is a great place to work and ensuring we are compliant with the latest employment legislation.

Stephen Carrick-Davies
FW Director
Stephen founded Facework in 2015 when he worked with young people in alternative education settings. Today he
heads up Facework and believes an organisation is only as great as its people. As such his first and foremost responsibility is to empower team members to thrive, be happy in their work and grow in their confidence and ability to serve those we are fortunate enough to be able to help.

Shima Soleimani
Facework Futures Manager
Shima holds advanced degrees in International Law and Refugee Studies. She brings years of experience working with humanitarian organisations and charities to support sanctuary seekers and marginalised communities, amplifying their voices and creating opportunities for human development. Inspired by her journey as a migrant woman from Iran, she is dedicated to helping others feel a sense of belonging, embrace opportunities, and have their voices heard.

Shahla Mohammadi
Facework Futures Psycho/Social Support
Shahla is an analytical therapist and counsellor with over 15 years’ experience in mental health. Originally from Iran, she moved to the UK in 2023 and continues her work supporting migrants’ mental health and wellbeing.
Drawing on both her professional expertise and personal experience of migration, Shahla understands the emotional and psychological challenges that can arise when building a new life and career in a new country.
Through the Facework Futures project, she supports migrants as they move forward in their employment journeys, providing a safe and understanding space to explore psychological barriers, build confidence, and take positive steps toward professional growth.
