Nailing Job Interviews: What Facework Ukraine Participants Learned from Employment Coach Zoryana Burmas
In our latest Job Interview Session, participants had the chance to pick up some great tips, practice their skills, and get useful feedback to boost their confidence for upcoming interviews. Led by the amazing Zoryana Burmas, an experienced employment coach, the session was part of our ongoing workshops designed to help people present themselves better in interviews and secure those dream jobs.
The session walked everyone through some key steps to ace interviews. From doing solid research on potential employers to crafting the perfect responses to tricky questions, we covered all the essentials:
How to structure answers using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to tell your story effectively.
How to show off soft skills and personal strengths that can really make you stand out.
What different industries expect from candidates and how to tailor your approach.
Everyone was really involved, sharing their thoughts, asking great questions, and contributing their own experiences. It was a hands-on and engaging session!
We also had our photographer on site, capturing moments of participants practising their interview techniques and getting real-time feedback from Zoryana. The photos really highlight the encouraging atmosphere, with everyone supporting each other as they learned and grew.
All in all, the session gave participants a chance to fine-tune their interview skills and gain the confidence they need to land their next big opportunity. We’re so excited to see what they achieve next!
