Lewisham College is excited to offer new courses this spring term and provide a wide range of training to help students achieve their career goals.

The new courses will cover a variety of subjects, including business, health and social care, information technology, and many more.

BUSINESS SKILLS: Business Administration and Skills for Work

DIGITAL SKILLS: Essential Digital Skills. Social Media Specialist

BASIC SKILLS: English, Maths

TEAM SKILLS: Greggs Team Leader Sector

CIVIL SERVICES: DWP & Civil Service Sector

CUSTOMER SERVICE: Thames Water & Customer service sector

SECURITY: CIS Security

HOSPITALITY: IHG Hotels and Resorts Sector-Based Work Academy Programme

HOSPITALITY: ISS Lewisham Hospital Sector- Based Work Academy Programme – Hospitality roles.

If you are looking for a great career opportunity, these courses will provide you with the necessary skills and qualifications to start a new role or return to the sector. After completing most of the courses, you will have a work experience session with one of the employers and a guaranteed job interview.

This year will be a mixture of face to face delivery and online, so customers may need access to a computer and internet connection They will also need to have the following documents or they will not be able to be enrolled onto the course: JCP referrals

• JCP referral letter or Universal Credit payment screen print (MUST be dated within the last 3 months) AND

• Valid UK/EU Passport OR All other passports – Must have indefinite leave to remain OR

• UK Birth certificate Partner Organisations

• JCP Benefit entitlement letter or Universal Credit payment screen print (MUST be dated within the last 3 months) AND

• Valid UK/EU Passport

• All other passports – Must have indefinite leave to remain OR

• UK Birth certificate Eligibility Your candidate(s) must be aged 19 years+ before 31st August 2022 and in receipt of JSA, ESA, or UC and be able to commit to the times and duration of their course. We can accept referrals from any borough.
