About the Programme

Facework Futures is a career support and training programme run by the Facework Group, a non-profit organisation. Lewisham Works, part of Lewisham Council, fund us. The services are designed primarily for sanctuary seekers from the Middle East, Asia and Africa with the right to work and live in the London Borough of Lewisham.

We aim to support the participants as they move towards employment for the first time in the UK or progress in their careers. The programme provides training, resources, connections and expertise with a user-centred approach. The Facework programme combines practical knowledge, soft skills and employment engagement, plus English language support.

The events are mainly held at our Maker Space site.

Facework Futures یک برنامه حمایت شغلی و آموزشی است که توسط گروه غیرانتفاعی FACEWORK اجرا می‌شود. ما از سوی «Lewisham Works»، که بخشی از Lewisham Council است تأمین مالی می‌شویم. این خدمات عمدتاً برای پناه‌جویانی از خاورمیانه، آسیا و آفریقا طراحی شده‌اند که حق زندگی و کار در ساحه Lewisham لندن را دارند.

هدف ما حمایت از شرکت‌کنندگان در مسیر ورود به بازار کار برای اولین بار در بریتانیا یا پیشرفت در مسیر شغلی آن‌هاست. این برنامه با رویکردی کاربرمحور، آموزش، منابع، ارتباطات وتخصص لازم را ارائه می‌دهد. برنامه Facework ترکیبی از دانش عملی، مهارت‌های نرم، ارتباط با کارفرمایان و پشتیبانی زبان انگلیسی است.

برنامه ها عمدتاً در محل «Maker Space» برگزار می‌شوند.
